The story behind the artwork

Introducing my newest work "Bocar Bindy" in Birpai. It means to Dive into the deep.

We've all seen the paintings of the ocean. The waves crashing, the fish swimming, and the coral reefs. These paintings are beautiful but don't show what it's like to be there.

The ocean is a place where you can forget everything. You can dive into the depths and feel like you're entirely alone in a world full of wonder. You can float on the water and watch as the sun sets over your head. You can swim with dolphins, sharks, jellyfish, or any other creature crossing your path.

And then there's the coral reefs—the most beautiful place on earth! There are so many colours and shapes it's hard to keep track of them all! It's almost like being inside an alien planet filled with life forms from another universe!

I wanted the art to portray the calmness the ocean can bring. This can be hung in any orientation.

I’m Alejandro Lauren, also known as Wayde Clarke. Alejandro is my alter ego a part of me that allows me to be loud and proud. I created them to break out of my comfort zone, to step into a space where I can truly shine, pushing past my own boundaries and embracing the fabulous person we all are.
