The story behind the artwork

Wine Time is an authentic creation by Alejandro Lauren (Wayde Clarke). This piece is a vibrant ode to women everywhere, celebrating their strength, resilience, and ability to keep the world spinning.

Wine Time captures the cherished moment of relaxation a woman coming home after a long day, bra off, wine in hand, reclaiming her space and time. The artwork is both a tribute to the power of women and a celebration of the small, everyday rituals that bring comfort and joy.

Through its lively composition, bold colours, and expressive details, Wine Time embodies gratitude and admiration for the incredible roles women play in every corner of life. It’s a lighthearted yet deeply meaningful reminder of the importance of taking time to unwind and recharge.

Its joyful and empowering energy invites viewers to honour and celebrate women while embracing the beauty of life’s simple pleasures.

Alejandro Lauren

I’m Alejandro Lauren, also known as Wayde Clarke. Alejandro is my alter ego a part of me that allows me to be loud and proud. I created them to break out of my comfort zone, to step into a space where I can truly shine, pushing past my own boundaries and embracing the fabulous person we all are.

My art is deeply tied to the human experience and emotion. I believe that the one thing that connects us all is how we navigate life’s challenges how we cope, manage, and share our stories. Through my work, I’ve learned to embrace vulnerability, sharing my own experiences and stories in the hope that others might see themselves reflected in my art. I want my work to help people connect, relate, and even heal, just as it has done for me.

Each piece is a journey of colour, emotion, and meaning, celebrating life, culture, and the power of human connection. I invite you to explore my art, and I hope it resonates with you on a personal level.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope my work brings you as much healing and inspiration as it has brought me.
