The story behind the artwork

Step into a safe, supportive space where you can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself through art.

This one-on-one art therapy session is gently guided, allowing you to explore your emotions, thoughts, and experiences in a creative and non-judgmental way. You don’t need to be “good” at art, this is about expression, not perfection.

Held in my gallery, this session offers a calm and grounding environment to help you process, release, and better understand what’s coming up for you.

Whether you’re navigating stress, grief, identity, or simply need space to breathe, this is for you.

You don’t need to bring anything special, just yourself.

All materials are provided for in-person sessions, and you’ll be gently guided throughout. This is a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without pressure or expectation.

If you’d like, you’re welcome to bring:

  • A journal or notebook
  • A small personal item that feels meaningful to you
  • Anything you’ve been working on creatively

For online sessions, please have some basic materials ready (paper, pens, paints whatever you have at home).

Most importantly, come as you are. That’s more than enough.

    Alejandro Lauren

I’m Alejandro Lauren, also known as Wayde Clarke.
Alejandro is my alter ego, a part of me that allows me to be loud, proud, and fully myself. I created them to step beyond my comfort zone, to push past my own limits, and to embrace the version of myself that shines without holding back. That journey of self-acceptance is something that deeply informs the work I do today.
My art has always been connected to the human experience, how we feel, how we cope, and how we move through life’s challenges. I believe the one thing that connects us all is emotion, and the ways we learn to express and understand it.
Through my own creative practice, I’ve learned to embrace vulnerability. Sharing my story through art has allowed me to process, reflect, and heal and it’s this experience that led me to art therapy.
Creating these sessions is about offering others that same space. A space where you can explore your feelings, connect with yourself, and express what might be hard to put into words.
You don’t need to be an artist. You just need to be open.
My intention is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered through creativity, so you can connect with yourself in a deeper, more meaningful way.
