About the workshop

Millennial Moments Workshop is a nostalgic and expressive painting session celebrating the moments that shaped us — the music we cried to, the memes we quoted, the heartbreaks, the joy, and the inside jokes that defined a generation.

Inspired by Wayde’s Millennial Moments series, this workshop invites you to turn your own life memories into bold, colourful artwork. Whether it’s a song lyric that carried you through, a pop culture reference that still lives rent-free in your head, or a moment that quietly changed you, you’ll capture it on canvas in your own vibrant style.

This session blends creativity with reflection in a relaxed, welcoming space. You’ll be gently guided through colour, composition, and expressive techniques, while being encouraged to follow your intuition and make the piece uniquely yours.

What to expect:

  • Painting on canvas

  • Bold colour, expressive mark-making, and personal symbolism

  • Inspiration drawn from music, pop culture, memories, and lived experience

  • A supportive, relaxed environment with no pressure to share unless you want to

🖌 Who it’s for:

Alejandro Lauren

I’m Alejandro Lauren, also known as Wayde Clarke. Alejandro is my alter ego a part of me that allows me to be loud and proud. I created them to break out of my comfort zone, to step into a space where I can truly shine, pushing past my own boundaries and embracing the fabulous person we all are.

My art is deeply tied to the human experience and emotion. I believe that the one thing that connects us all is how we navigate life’s challenges how we cope, manage, and share our stories. Through my work, I’ve learned to embrace vulnerability, sharing my own experiences and stories in the hope that others might see themselves reflected in my art. I want my work to help people connect, relate, and even heal, just as it has done for me.

Each piece is a journey of colour, emotion, and meaning, celebrating life, culture, and the power of human connection. I invite you to explore my art, and I hope it resonates with you on a personal level.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope my work brings you as much healing and inspiration as it has brought me.
