The story behind the artwork

I love seeing the moon at night. I wanted to draw this in an Australian indigenous style. I used these fun Twilight colours. I feel grounded to the earth when I see this big beautiful sphere up in the air.

This would look amazing above your bed or in an entryway of your home. I love you all.

Meet Alejandro Lauren

I’m Alejandro Lauren, also known as Wayde Clarke. Alejandro is my alter ego—a part of me that allows me to be loud and proud. I created them to break out of my comfort zone, to step into a space where I can truly shine, pushing past my own boundaries and embracing the fabulous person we all are.

My art is deeply tied to the human experience and emotion. I believe that the one thing that connects us all is how we navigate life’s challenges—how we cope, manage, and share our stories. Through my work, I’ve learned to embrace vulnerability, sharing my own experiences and stories in the hope that others might see themselves reflected in my art. I want my work to help people connect, relate, and even heal, just as it has done for me.
