The story behind the artwork

Mountains Peak is a celebration of resilience, growth and the victories that come from refusing to give up.

You have made it over the hill. While you may not be exactly where you want to be, you are in a far better place than where you started. The challenges, setbacks and obstacles you have faced have shaped you into someone stronger than before.

Life will always present another mountain to climb. There will always be new goals, challenges and dreams waiting ahead. But that is part of the journey. We do not have to conquer everything at once. We simply take the next step, and then the next.

The crown resting on the mountain peak symbolises triumph after struggle. It celebrates getting through defeat, finding strength during difficult times and continuing forward when giving up felt easier. It is a reminder that every mountain climbed deserves to be honoured.

Alejandro Lauren

I’m Alejandro Lauren, also known as Wayde Clarke. Alejandro is my alter ego a part of me that allows me to be loud and proud. I created them to break out of my comfort zone, to step into a space where I can truly shine, pushing past my own boundaries and embracing the fabulous person we all are.

My art is deeply tied to the human experience and emotion. I believe that the one thing that connects us all is how we navigate life’s challenges how we cope, manage, and share our stories. Through my work, I’ve learned to embrace vulnerability, sharing my own experiences and stories in the hope that others might see themselves reflected in my art. I want my work to help people connect, relate, and even heal, just as it has done for me.

Each piece is a journey of colour, emotion, and meaning, celebrating life, culture, and the power of human connection. I invite you to explore my art, and I hope it resonates with you on a personal level.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope my work brings you as much healing and inspiration as it has brought me.
