The story behind the artwork

Introducing "The Three Wiradjuri Rivers," a heartfelt tribute to the Wiradjuri tribe. This stunning artwork showcases warm, earthy tones and delicate pink hues, capturing the essence of their vibrant culture. Golden dots shimmer like stars, symbolizing the enduring connection between the Wiradjuri people and their sacred rivers. Celebrate their rich heritage with this captivating painting, a visual masterpiece that invites you to appreciate the strength and beauty of the Wiradjuri tribe.

The Wiradjuri peoples ancestral land, known as the Wiradjuri country, is embraced by three magnificent rivers: the Macquarie River (Wambool), the Lachlan River (Kalari), and the Murrumbidgee River (Murrumbidjeri). In my latest painting, I pay homage to this sacred connection, using warm tones and delicate hues to celebrate the rich heritage of the Wiradjuri tribe. With each stroke, I aim to honor their deep respect for the land and their enduring presence as the "people of three rivers."

Available now, bring home a piece of their ancestral land and honor their remarkable legacy.

Alejandro Lauren

I’m Alejandro Lauren, also known as Wayde Clarke. Alejandro is my alter ego a part of me that allows me to be loud and proud. I created them to break out of my comfort zone, to step into a space where I can truly shine, pushing past my own boundaries and embracing the fabulous person we all are.

My art is deeply tied to the human experience and emotion. I believe that the one thing that connects us all is how we navigate life’s challenges how we cope, manage, and share our stories. Through my work, I’ve learned to embrace vulnerability, sharing my own experiences and stories in the hope that others might see themselves reflected in my art. I want my work to help people connect, relate, and even heal, just as it has done for me.

Each piece is a journey of colour, emotion, and meaning, celebrating life, culture, and the power of human connection. I invite you to explore my art, and I hope it resonates with you on a personal level.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope my work brings you as much healing and inspiration as it has brought me.
